voestalpine Böhler Welding is represented globally with 41 subsidiaries and produces high-quality filler metals for welding processes and industrial applications in the three Brands : Böhler Welding, UTP Maintenance and Fontargen Brazing.

• Resolve technical challenges for customers and consultancy for sales organizations and customers – provides desk-top assistance in translating customer technical needs into internal specifications
• Be the 1st line contact for Customer support by phone and on-site with sales through sales and technical sales
• Shared responsibility for sales development on selected industry strategic accounts
• Supports Global Product Management in terms of technical data and benchmarking (e.g. product management data base)
• Contribute to fill product gaps – Input to R&D for new & improvement on products
• Execution of product related or application related testing including Benchmarking at ATCs
• Supports the Full Welding Solution (FWS) Management with technical expertise and during development and implementation of full welding solutions.
• Supports creation and maintenance of welding knowledge database.
• Contribute actively to Trainings and build Training material à Welding Academy
• Contribute actively to technical seminars/conferences
• Contributes with technical expertise to Marketing activities (fairs, social media posts, publishing of articles/papers and proof reading of other materials)
• Develops and supports sales of ‘weldTec’ Applications Services (productivity audits, trainings, etc.
• Ensure highest competence in know-how related  to our products (focusing on consumables), metallurgy and welding applications/requirements 

• M.Tech in Metallurgy or Welding Technology OR International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in the welding industry
• International experience is preferred
• Excellent english communication skills
