voestalpine Böhler Welding is represented globally with 41 subsidiaries and produces high-quality filler metals for welding processes and industrial applications in the three Brands : Böhler Welding, UTP Maintenance and Fontargen Brazing.

PURPOSE OF POSITION 

We are looking for a skilled SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Analyst with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in SAP PLM/PIM. The ideal candidate should have expertise in product classification, product analysis, material/item creation, mass data uploads, workflow creation and monitoring, and business classification of materials.

This role is part of the Global Capability Center (GCC) and is responsible for maintaining SAP systems with respect to GPM data elements and PDS product data across the entire vaBW global portfolio.

This role requires a balance of functional ability, data governance, stakeholder management, and transformation mindset.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and update GPM-related data in SAP, PCM, and PIM systems, including item numbers, descriptions, specifications, and other relevant details.
• Initiate material/item creation in SAP and manage the workflow process during setup, ensuring completion of MCR activities in coordination with GPOs.
• Update PDS and PCM/PIM systems based on inputs from GPMs and ensure timely distribution of revised data to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in SAP by performing regular validation checks and resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support product-related data requirements and act as a coordination point between stakeholders.
• Conduct product portfolio analysis and support lifecycle management activities in SAP based on recommendations from GPMs.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / commerce / business administration / IT
• MBA (Operations / Supply Chain / Systems) – Preferred
• SAP MM / PLM Certification – Good to have.
