What You’ll Be Doing:
Control and develop QMS to help ensure that all customer and regulatory requirements are achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Process document changes; manage the initial release of QMS documents and revision of existing documents, while maintaining electronic Quality Management System.
- Coordinates with Process Managers to ensure the effective implementation and compliance to the Quality Management System requirements.
- Ensure the eQMS (NCMR, CAPA, Quality Processes, etc.) operates effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of internal customers, business objectives, and corporate quality objectives.
- Oversee Audit Findings and drive closure with cross-functional team.
- Drive continuous improvement by offering constructive feedback on existing processes.
- Coordinate and act as liaison with Customer and certification auditors in performing quality audits of facilities and products.
- Maintain External and Internal Audit Schedule
- Work with Quality Manager to resolve QMS issues.
- Maintains ASTM / AWS / EN / SAE Industry specs to latest revision inside of electronic database.
- Support maintaining master prints as needed.
- Maintain approved supplier list. Work with SQE as needed for new supplier approvals.
- Initiate/ review ECR as needed for ISO related documents.
- Process ECR, assign approvals, Monitor ECR flow.
- Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsQualifications
Experience Required:
- Five years’ experience in supply chain, quality, or related role.
- In-Depth understanding of quality control procedures.
- Lead Internal Auditor ISO 9001
- Lead Internal Auditor ISO 14001
- Lead Internal Auditor IATF 16949
- Working statistical knowledge for trend analysis.
- Good understanding of MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel; Project
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- US person as defined by ITAR/EAR.
Preferred Qualification:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential.
- Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines, budgets, and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as in group settings.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems and relevant industry-specific standards.
- Ability to implement, monitor and evaluate the performance of the Quality Management System to Standard requirements.
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement actions necessary to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management system.
- Ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to corrective actions.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025
