Job description
- Creates a local MarCom Strategy based on the Group MarCom & Brand strategy
- Creates and executes the local content roadmap together with internal key stakeholders for on and offline communication channels considering global communication guidelines (CD/CI) such as: magazine advertising, events, merchandising and POS material, brochures, printed material etc
- Creates own, and fosters team to create local content (write-up, pictures, videos, etc.)
- Ensures a target group focused communication using the Marketing Cloud (Dynamics 365) and actively supports sales in Lead Generation by providing Marketing-Qualified-Leads (MQL)
- Supports the Product Launch Process that may include advertorials, tradeshow press kits, literature etc
- Measures the success of campaigns and promotions for further improvements
- Acts as a linking pin to other market-oriented functions (e.g. Sales, Product Management)
- Has the ownership for local communication channels, such as website, newsletters or social media channels
- Drives the planning, organization and implementation of local events (fairs, roadshows, …)
- Executes yearly customer satisfaction surveys in close alignment with Global MarCom, analyses the results and derives recommendations for action for a more customer-centric organization
- Is responsible for the local MarCom Budget
- Monitors market and competition activities
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma preferably in Marketing, alternatively in Communications or Business Administration with specialization in marketing and communication. An Engineering degree would be an added qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar job role
- Experience in development and monitoring of advertising campaigns, content development for the related industrial segments and advertising
- Self-motivated, proactive individual with ability to use their initiative and able to manage and implement new ideas in the team with a focus on “making things happen”
- Ability to understand and translate complex information into clear messages and communications to the market
- Ability to work with “virtual” teams
- Ability to work in a multifunctional organization and in multifunctional teams
- Ability to work under pressure in multi-activities and effective in time management
- Creative thinker – not shy to bring new ideas
- Excellent command of English – oral and written
- Applicant MUST be based in Thane, Maharashtra
