Job description


Function specific:

  • Maintains staffing and monitors productivity of team members
  • Trains staff on warehouse standards
  • Manage receiving and shipping of all materials
  • Maintain highest level of safe operations, following OSHA, and HSE guidelines and requirements.
  • Initiate claims report of any damage, providing photos and documentation
  • Ensure the allocation of racking places for all incoming materials to allow a fast receiving process
  • Check quality of incoming/outbound material and all documents
  • Run SAP reports continuously to be aware about material to be received and shipped
  • Ensure MIGO process for receiving materials is followed
  • Ensure documentation all incoming material in a corresponding inbound shipment log
  • Ensure handling of all paperwork for inbound/outbound materials is completed and processed immediately
  • Ensure fast and correct data input in the system
  • Ensure a strong communication with Supply Chain team for inbound/outbound materials as well as with Logistics Specialist
  • Provide trainings in respect to work instructions, process instructions and guidelines for incoming/outgoing goods
  • Ensure a strong team culture with all Warehouse Material Handlers
  • Manage and maintain return goods authorization (RMA’s) log book
  • Ensure return shipments are inspected, received and logged in on a daily basis
  • Operate tasks as Warehouse Material Handler III, in absence of position
  • SAP utilization
  • Any other duties as assigned



Leadership & Organization:

  • Define inbound and outbound teams for each week, based on the defined weekly inbound/outbound schedule
  • Ensure a proper and optimized utilization of team members
  • Lead, develop and train all Warehouse employees
  • Train temporary workers to be able to do the job (if required)
  • Has some authority for personnel actions
  • Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a small department

Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
